Donations
Every donation, big or small, is welcome and will contribute towards providing life-saving help to refugees. We at the HKRAC appreciate every effort and will reciprocate your help by making the following pledge:
- To spend your money wisely The money you donate will be used directly to protect refugees through legal services and advocacy.
- To provide high-quality legal assistance for our clients We have achieved a success rate of over 50% in the asylum cases we have represented. This is five times the national average.
- To continue speaking out against injustice Our campaign work has achieved a number of critical successes, including some of the recent changes to internal refugee status determination procedures in UNHCR Hong Kong.
- To continue to help the most vulnerable Our focus is on the protection needs of the most vulnerable of the vulnerable, and we prioritize victims of torture or sexual-and-gender-based violence, unaccompanied children, female heads of households, and those with severe medical or security concerns for full representation.
There are two ways to support HKRAC by donating:
- For those living in Hong Kong, you can transfer your donation to our account at HSBC account number 808-340434-838. Please provide your name, contact information, and any comments to the notes section of the wire transfer. This is the preferred, fee-free method of donating in Hong Kong. Please contact us at info@hkrac.org with any questions on this donation method.
- For your convenience, we now accept secure credit card donations via PayPal through the form below. Please note that any credit card transactions will be subject to a ~3% processing fee paid by HKRAC.
